Free Pancakes?

Yesterday morning, I dropped off my Jeep at 4WP - "4 Wheel Parts" where she underwent an upgrade. I had rock rails installed just in time for next Tuesday's climb to the summit of Wheeler Pass. She'll be taking on rough terrain for the first time as we journey to the top of the mountain on narrow roads. My GoPro will be capturing the adventure and will be posted the next day.

My friend, I'll refer to as G, met me at 4 Wheel Parts at 9AM and we had a great breakfast together at "Black Bear Diner" on Las Vegas Blvd South. This location beats the other Vegas locations by far. It's a much larger dining room and has an old fashioned jukebox that plays the tunes we loved in the 60's and 70's. Did I mention that the breakfast was very tasty, served timely, and there was plenty of it on our platters!

Las Vegas Fun Times is my new baby! In all honesty, I wasn't ready to launch this new meetup group. Much to my surprise, when I stepped-up to the plate to become the Organizer of  "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives!", the new group went live. Yikes! DMV of NV - Do Your Job Please FIRST : If you live in Las Vegas, NV, do not go to the DMV on a Saturday!   I have talked with several people that went to the DMV on a Saturday.  One woman told me the first time she went, she arrived at 5:00AM per a friend's advice. The line was wrapped around the entire building. The next visit, she arrived at 3:00AM, and there was still a line. If you are attempting to make an appointment online and the appointment system can not be accessed, please wait until it is available. No appointments can be made via phone call or online chat session.    NV Residents: If your plates or DL is expired, you will need to apply for a "Movement Permit" but keep in mind that movement is restricted. Miller's Tavern in Vegas July 7, 2022

Miller's Tavern is a great place to chill out. Sitting on a well-groomed golf course called Palm Valley,  it's located in the Sun City Community in Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV.  This is an adult community and requires that at least one member of the household must be at least 55 years of age and no household member can be under 18. Needless to say, it's a quiet and peaceful place. Today, I met with a group of 18 people at Miller's for lunch and play time. The group's favorite game is Rummikub, a tile-based game for 2-4 players.
