Our Journey - Thursday, June 23

Finally, I woke up this morning in Vegas baby! It felt great to be home again. Of course, there's no rest for the wicked! Today's plan included getting on the road again, but only for a brief jaunt. Our kitty Lola had to be picked up from a friend's home that's located an hour away.

After a busy morning of errands, we drove out to Ronnie's house to pickup our precious kitty. We had no idea what was in store for us. Ronnie and his wife Brandi surprised us with a wonderful homemade meal that was very much appreciated. A home-cooked meal and great company was just what we needed. Keep in mind that when you're are pulling a trailer, you are practically forced to eat at travel centers and truck stops. If you don't mind eating subs, over-cooked chicken tenders and tasteless pizza, the truck stops are for you!

About Dinner
Ronnie and Brandi worked together to create an excellent dinner and more. A wide selection of fresh fruit, a veggie tray, mixed nuts, and chocolates were sitting out for all to enjoy. The main course of tender
oven-roasted tri-tip was served with fresh asparagus and seasoned potatoes, paired with an Italian fruity and dry red wine. Desserts were plentiful and offered with a bold French roasted coffee. Ronnie and Brandi, you have created a comfortable and welcoming home that houses a beautiful family. Harry and I thank you for your fantastic hospitality. Most of all, we thank you for taking care of Lola.
